My Baby Mama!!!

Just to start out, this is Matt, not Sheri.

On this Mother's day I have been thinking a lot about my amazing wife and how lucky I am.  She is going to be the best mom any kid could ever have.  She already is the best wife I could have ever imagined.  As unplanned as this next step in our lives is, I am so glad that I have Sheri by my side.  I love you more than anything Sheri and I can't wait for all of our future memories together. Happy Future Mother's Day!!!

Attention:

Ok folks, I need a hobby! I am for sure not the craftiest person alive but I want to be more "crafty." I know how to crochet but don't really like it... So I am open. Well here are a few stipulations: it cant take forever, because I loose interest fast! And it cant cost a lot :) oh and cant involve cooking, i am hopeless in that area.

Please, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I NEED a hobby!

First Anniversary and First Baby Visit!

We have officially been married 1 year! It has gone by so fast! We had so much fun this weekend! Matt made all the plans and it was perfect! We went to Salt Lake, where we got pedicures at this adorable little salon. Then we went out to eat at Flemming's, and it was amazing! The steak was delicious (obviously) and the mash potatoes were to die for! Then after that we went and saw the Joseph Smith movie, which was really good. It is always fun to go to Temple Square.  After that we went to a really nice hotel, The Little America, where we enjoyed some amazing room service dessert! In the morning, they have this fabulous buffet. It was so so good but we decided that we are not good buffet eaters, we just can't sit and eat for hours, we get tired! We had so much fun.
Matt is truly amazing! This really has been the best year ever! I am so lucky to be married to him!

So we had our first doc visit, it took so long! Everything is great, they bumped our date up a few days. I really like my doctor and I was so glad that Matt got to meet her. We got to hear the heart beat which was really cool and super fast. Everything was good and we got a picture which Matt was stoked for! And then i had to get a PAP smear, with Matt in the room, that was cool. The best news (other than everything is healthy) is that I can take Ibuprofen till 20 week, which will provide some relief to the headaches. The doctor answered all of our questions and sent us on our way for 4 more weeks. I can not believe we are close to finding out the sex! it could possible be at our next visit!

Oh the best part, not... was when the doc was giving me my exam she said "Oh you already have a baby belly."  Like anyone really wants to hear that, pregnant or not. plus can't you say the word "bump" instead of "belly" come on who wants to hear they have a belly? I am actually excited to show or feel something because tis still doesn't feel quite real yet.

Here is the baby, you can actually see it! Crazy, it looks like an actual baby! we think it looks a little bored...

And here is that belly she was talking about. This is at the end of our first trimester. And i totally have a shirt on, it just got cut out.

Fear of the Shower!

Ok it all started a couple months ago...

This may be to much information for some people but I think it is kinda funny.

So one of my favorite things to do is sit in the shower and turn the water super hot and just relax in the steam.

So a couple months ago that is exactly what I was doing. When Matt came home I asked him to  get in with me... I was sitting in there innocently waiting for him to come in...

Well instead of joining his wife in the shower, he thought it would be funny to sneak into the kitchen, get freezing cold water out of the fridge, come back into the bathroom and douse me with it.

Trust me I defiantly got him back.

So now since this game has been going on, we have a fear of the shower. I think it is causing serious anxiety. I am paranoid if I don't know where he is when I am showering. Today, he was telling me that he had to rush out of the shower, to get out b4 I got home.

It is a little out of hand, but don't worry neither one of us will surrender!!

Damn you, birth control!

So apparently we are pregnant...

After 3 pregnancy tests, turn out we have a VERY unexpected surprise!

It has been a eventful week... Lets just say we have had some inconsistent months, which should not happen when you are on birth control... well we took a test, just to make sure last month, and it said no, which was a relief... ( but it lied) So this month, still nothing and I was thinking i should go to the doc just to make sure everything was ok. I knew she would ask when the last pregnancy test I took was, so I got one when I was grocery shopping. Well I took it and left it on the counter while I took a shower and Matt came in and said, "what is this supposed to say?" then followed by, " ah babe..." and showed me. Well one of the lines was lighter then the other, so we were thinking, maybe a mistake? So we took another, same thing. Then we decided that we needed one with the word on it and it said pregnant, there is no denying.
Since we had some inconsistent months, we had an ultrasound on Wednesday to see how far we are and everything looks great.

Now that some of the shock has worn off, we are getting more and more excited! Matt has always been stoked, I am still adjusting. I am really excited but in no way does my life consist of anything baby friendly! I guess that is why you are pregnant for 9 months, because your life has to completely change! I am so glad that Matt is so so so excited, it really helps!

And I do not want to get fat!!!

I have been feeling pretty sick, even b4 we found out, but i just though "when was the last time i ate" and stuff so this makes sense... I have been pretty sick though. Let me tell you that working at a sushi restaurant really helps. I was puking in the bathroom during our rush on friday, fun fun.

Over all we are really excited about our Happy Ooops. Well at least we know that Matts swimmers can get past a goalie. We know it is still so early but we cant keep our moths shut so we decided to post anyways. we go back to the doctor on the 27!

What a life...

So all the crazyness started in November: We went to Texas for thanksgiving. Then 2 weeks later we were in San Diego for my wonderful sisters wedding. 2 weeks after that we had Christmas here in Utah with Matt's family. 2 weeks after that we went back to the great state of Texas for Chris's reception. Then 2 weeks after that, I went back to texas for market and Matt started another busy semester at school. Now 2 weeks later, I leave for market in the morning. Then in 2 more weeks I will be leaving for another market. Wow! Life just never slows down sometimes. The best thing is, the past 4 month crazyness has been great because it has been filled with family and friends!

Now we are all back and running with our computers, thanks to Matt! So a little while ago Matt dropped his computer on his foot and broke the LCD screen. Which would cost a lot to fix, cool. And then just the other day my hard drive crashed and we lost everything that was on it, cool. So Matt took both the computers in to get fixed. I have apple care on mine and we were just going to pay the money to fix his. Good thing Matt knows how to work it because by the time he was done talking to the lady, both of our computers were getting fixed for free! Way to go babe!

This was Matt's idea, we went to KFC for Martin Luther King Jr. day. It was actually pretty tasty, I forget how great their biscuits are.

This was right after the Dallas market. No one wanted to take his picture :) but i love these kids!

Kim- You are great! Thank you for doing market with me! You made a mind numbingly boring market, a whole lot more fun! I wish you were coming with me tomorrow, i will be the only model there, i just might die :)

Part of our Valentine's day was going to the Jazz/Lakers game. It was so so much fun. The Lakers may have lost but it was a really close game and those are always fun to watch. Even when you are on the very last row in the stadium, like we were. You can tell in the picture of Matt walking up the step just how high we were.

Valentine's Day was amazing! Matt and I both had to work in the morning, but Matt made the evening so romantic and special. I came home to my favorite flowers and fondue. Babe I love you, you are the most amazing husband!

Bad news for Puckett... As you can tell, this little hellion gets into everything. Well we have an electric stove and she was so interested in what we were cooking, that when I turned to get some water in the pot, she ran across the stove and burned her paws. She is totally ok but she had a few little blisters on the pads of her front feet. Needless to say she does not come close to the stove anymore.

Broken

Sorry guys we are broken! All our computers are at the shop, but we get them back soon!
